SMS Gateway Configuration

In order for your DIG-AP040 appliance to be able to send SMS notifications, you will need to configure it with the details of the SMS Gateway server that is to be used for delivering the messages. These details are provided as a string of code that enables our system to interact with the SMS Gateway you have subscribed to, and from which system notifications and user alerts will be generated. If you do not already have it available to you, request sample HTTP API code from your SMS Gateway provider (see the provided samples below). The format of this string of code may vary depending on who you subscribe with, however the general format is:

URL + username=YourUserName + password=YourPassword + cmd=CommandName + parameters Required by the SMS Gateway

URL – The URL of your SMS Gateway service will already be a part of the sample code they provide you

Username – Specific to your subscription, case sensitive

Password – Specific to your subscription, case sensitive

Parameters - Additional options may also be provided – these will not be recognized by NetSpark and must be defined by you (see Example 1).

Required by NetSpark:

Cell Number – this may be labeled in varying ways, but the placehold for the recipient mobile numbers must be entered as the string "--group numbers--". Any other format will not be recognized by NetSpark, so ensure you update this. Message – this also may be labeled in varying ways, but the placehold for the message must be entered as the string "--msg--". Any other format will not be recognized by NetSpark, so ensure you correctly update this.
